While in the aftermath of COVID-19 several companies are temporarily shut down, “important” metal fabrication operations are maintaining the front lines of production, providing the infrastructure to house our food and agricultural supplies and other critical resources.

Defining “Essential”

Currently, it is up to India’s cities and states to determine which businesses
are considered “essential” or “non-essential” during this health, safety and economic crisis COVID-19.
However, the Indian government recently deemed part of the
Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce to be the “metal manufacturing.”
