Sarma Fabrication PEB system is custom designed to meet customer requirements. The basic parameters of the build are:
PEB Building Length:
The length of the building is known to be the distance between the exterior flanges of end wall columns in opposite end wall. End bay length is the distance of the first interior frame columns from outside of the outer flange of center line end wall columns. The length of the interior bay is the distance between the center lines of two adjacent main frame columns inside.
The most cost effective length of the bay is 6 m or 7.5 m. However length of the bay can be up to 15 m.
PEB Building Height:
Building heights is the height of the Eave and is usually the distance from the bottom of the base plate of the main frame column to the top outer eave strut point. Can have heights of up to 30 metres. Eave height is the distance from the finished floor level to the top of eave strut when columns are recessed or raised from the finished floor.
PEB Roof Slope (x/10):
This is the roof angle in relation to the horizontal one. The most common roof slopes are 1/10 and 1/20, although as required by customers, any practical roof slope is possible.
Our Design Criteria:
Sarma Fabrication Pre Engineered Steel Buildings are in compliance with the new construction code. We have a highly trained design engineering team with base structural engineering expertise. Combining the new technologies and experience, we make the projects more economical and healthier.
Following are the list of Designs Code / Standards:
1. IS-800-2007 (Indian Standard- General Construction in Steel – Code of practice)
2. IS-875-PART- I TO V (Loads and Combinations)
3. IS-1893-2002 Criteria fot Earthquake Resistant Design of Structure (R-5)
4. Metal Building Manufacturer Association (MBMA-2014)
5. American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC)
6. American Welding Society (AWS)
Primary members are PEB ‘s principal load bearing & support staff. It includes Columns, rafters and other members that support it. Those members’ shape and size is based on application & requirements. The frame is erected by bolting the joining sections of the end plates together. The key members which are often used are:
